As Usual...

I'm ahead of the curve. The Cubs just intentionally walked Ryan Doumit.

Anyway, here's a couple of interesting draft notes from Rotoworld:

- Cardinals beat write Kurt Somers would be shocked if they didn't use their first round pick on a corner. Huh, I had them taking an end. Anyway, It makes sense as Antrel Rolle is moving over to safety and Eric Green isn't very good. However, if anyone says Brandon Flowers, I'd disagree because he's very similar to Green. They played the same position (Boundary corner, think taking a third of the field all of the time, and not really matching up a whole lot.) at the same school.

- The Cincinnati Bengals claimed to be interested in Malcolm Kelly. That's a little bit higher than I figured he would go. He hasn't worked out for scouts just yet, but I think this might be a little maneuvering by Marv Lewis and company. However, with Ocho Cinco complaining and Chris Henry out, they could need another receiver. I just don't think it will be Kelly.

I Wish My Entire Fantasy Team was More Like Ryan Doumit...

That's Right, I said it. 8-for-15, 2 runs, a home run and an RBI. Not bad for a guy you never heard of. Admit it. You haven't. He's a backup catcher/outfielder on the Pirates.

Anyway, I'm griping about the rest of my team. Besides the best catcher ever and Jimmy Rollins, no one else is hitting. Ryan Braun apparent forgot how to swing a bat (4-for-19 ) and John Lackey, Jeremy Hermeida and Curtis Granderson are all hurt.

Somebody find me more Ryan Doumits.
