Mike Rucker has been a divisive figure for Panthers fans for the past two seasons. While most people believe that he was washed up, he was a bookend on their line for a long time. Today, he retired, filling a huge hole on their defensive line. Rucker finished his career with 55.5 sacks and one Pro Bowl appearance.

After being a first round pick in 2005, He retires having played just 16 games and having just 4.5 sacks.
